The Dryden Municipal Telephone System is a full service, Municipality wholly owned, Telephone Company. In recent years Dryden Municipal Telephone System has shortened its name to DMTS and you will see our trucks across Northwestern Ontario. Look for the DMTS logo in your town soon!
DMTS has served the City of Dryden for more than 90 years and is now bringing that experience and customer service to Northwestern Ontario.
DMTS has secured Cell spectrum across Northwestern Ontario and will be bringing service to all of the towns in Northwestern Ontario over the coming months and years.
We provide:
- Business System Installation, Maintenance and service for all Business Solutions. DMTS is Certified in Fiber Optic Service and Installation as well as Digital and IP Telephone Systems. If your business is in need of a new system or just an additional phone, we are here to service Northwestern Ontario.
- Cellular Service to all residents of the general area, Sales and Leasing of Globalstar Satellite Telephones and Sales &
- Internet Service to the general area, with High Speed DSL in Dryden and Dial-up Service in and around our city, as well as High Speed Wireless Internet on Northwestern Ontario’s largest Wireless Internet Network.

Commissioner for Complaints for Telecommunications Services (CCTS)
CCTS is an agency independent of the telecommunications industry, whose mandate is to resolve complaints of individual and small business retail customers about their telecommunications services. If you have a complaint about your services, including local or long distance telephone service, wireless telephone service, or Internet service, you must first try to resolve it directly with your service provider. If you have done so and have been unable to reach a satisfactory resolution, CCTS may be able to help you, free of charge.
