Bell Aliant completes purchase of DMTS

Jan. 2, 2013—Dryden, Ontario—The City of Dryden and Bell Aliant are pleased to announce that the sale of the landline and Internet assets of Dryden Municipal Telephone System (DMTS) to Bell Aliant has been officially completed.

The members of Dryden City Council granted final authorization for the transaction on October 3, 2012, and the transition to new ownership has been ongoing from that point.

The intent of both Bell Aliant and the City of Dryden has been to make the transition as seamless as possible. For customers it is business as usual, and should any changes be required, there will be direct, advance communications to customers.

We are happy to announce that DMTS has found a mobility dealer in Red Lake. The Computer Guy shall play host to DMTS Mobility Products and Services in Red Lake beginning Wednesday December 8th, 2010. This is very exciting and we are happy to have the friendly staff at the Computer Guy store on-board.

DMTS and AT&T – Roaming agreement Signed

DMTS customers now have the ablility to make roaming phone calls (and text messages) on the AT&T mobility network. We are currently working with AT&T to finalize data roaming ablilities.
