This is the bottom menu bar of the desktop screen that a Macintosh OSX user would see.
Click on the System Preferences icon.
Click on the Network icon (located under the Internet & Network heading)
Click on the up-and-down arrows located on the right-hand side of the Show: field.
Choose Network Port Configurations from the menu
Ensure that there is a check mark next to Internal Modem.
At this point, you may also want to place a check mark next to Built-in Ethernet (for use in the future with DMTS High-Speed)
Click on the up-and-down arrows located on the right-hand side of the Show: field and select Internal Modem.
Click on the PPP tab
Populate the PPP settings fields using the information shown above, substituting your real Account Name and Password for the examples displayed in the above screen
Note: place a check mark in the Save password checkbox ONLY if you are in a secure (ie: your residence) area.
Click on the PPP Options button.
The above screen shows the default settings for the Session Options.
The value for the Disconnect if idle for xx minutes field may be raised or lowered at your discretion. The value entered will determine how long your Internet connection will sit idle before it will send a command to your computer's modem to terminate the connection.
Click the OK button to continue.
If the settings appear to be correct, then click on the Apply Now button. Click on the close button located in the upper left-hand corner of the screen
Double-click on the hard drive icon located on your Mac's desktop screen.
Double-click on the Applications folder icon.
Double-click on the Internet Connect icon.
Ensure that Internal Modem is displayed in the Configuration field. Click on the Connect button to connect to the Internet.
