Outlook XP (2002) Email Setup

Open Outlook XP and click on Tools and then E-mail Accounts

Open Outlook XP and click on Tools and then E-mail Accounts

Make sure there is a dot beside "Add a new e-mail account" and click Next
Select POP3, and click Next

Select POP3, and click Next

Fill in your name and email address.<br />The incoming mail server should be mail.drytel.net.<br />The outgoing mail server should be mail.drytel.net.<br />The username field should automatically be populated after you've entered your email address.<br />Enter your password and put a check next to "Remember password".

After this step you will want to click on the more settings button.
It will bring up a screen that will look like the following.

You will then want to click on the outgoing sever tab. You then want to make sure that my outgoing sever requires authentication is enabled

After this step you will want to click on the Advanced Tab. You will then change the outgoing server (SMTP) port to 587

After this step you will want to click on the Advanced Tab. You will then change the outgoing server (SMTP) port to 587

Then click the next button which will bring you to this screen

Then click the next button which will bring you to this screen

Click Finish and your account is configured and ready to use
