Setting Up E-mail in Windows Mail

Step1. Open Windows Mail via the Start menu.

Step 8. Ensure that POP3 is selected in this box.<br />Enter mail.drytel.net in the Incoming mail (POP3 or IMAP) server field.<br />Enter mail.drytel.net in the Outgoing e-mail server (SMTP) name.<br />Ensure that Outgoing server requires authentication is enabled.<br />Click Next.

Enter mail.drytel.net in the Incoming mail (POP3 or IMAP) server field.
Enter mail.drytel.net in the Outgoing e-mail server (SMTP) name.
Ensure that Outgoing server requires authentication is enabled.
Click Next.

Step 9. The E-mail username field should already be completed with the first portion of your email address (everything to the left of "@").<br />Enter your password.<br />If you do not want to enter your password each time you check for new e-mail, ensure that Remember password is enabled.<br />Click Next.
Step 10. If you are not connected at this time, or do not want to download your e-mail messages, do not enable this option.<br />Click Finish.<br />You will then be on the internet accounts menu again.<br />Click on properties

Step 11. Make sure include this account when receiving mail or synchronizing is enabled.<br /><br />Finally click on the Advanced tab

Step 12. Make sure you change the Outgoing Mail (SMTP) port number from 25 to 587.<br />Now your account is configured and ready to go.
