Call Display – Number*
See the number of the person calling before you answer the phone.
Call Display – Name*
If you have Call Display-Number, you can also Call Display-Name and see the name of the incoming caller before you answer the phone.
Call Return*
Automatic Recall
Press *69. Rotary, dial 1169. A voice announcement will tell you the number of the last incoming call and give you a choice of returning it or not. To return the call, dial “1”. If you try to return a call and the line is busy, hang up. A special ring will notify you when the line is free. When you pick up the receiver, the call will be placed automatically.
If you do not wish to receive the Call Return signal, press *89 or on a rotary phone dial 1189.
Automatic Callback
Press *66. Rotary, dial 1166. If you try to call and the line is busy, a voice announcement will let you know that the line is busy. Hang up. A special ring will notify you when the line is free. When you pick up the receiver the call will be placed automatically.
If you do not wish to receive the Call Return signal, press *86 or on a rotary phone dial 1186.
Selective Call Rejection*
Reject calls from a list of up to 12 numbers that you program into your phone. All other numbers will be received at your phone.
- To activate the service
- Lift the handset and wait for dial tone
- Press *60. Rotary, dial 1160
- Listen for an announcement telling you whether the feature is on or off. The recorded voice will then tell you how many (if any) numbers are currently stored in your rejection list
- Follow the voice instructions and dial 3 to turn the feature ON (if it is currently off), or turn the feature off (if it is currently on)
- To add the last caller to your list
- Press #01#. Rotary, dial 1201.
- To hear the phone numbers on your list
- Dial 1
- After the list is read, voice instructions will follow
- To add a number to the list:
- Press #. Rotary, dial 12
- Follow the voice instructions you will hear. You can store up to 12 numbers on your list
- To remove a number from your list

Press *. Rotary, dial 11.
Follow the voice instructions to remove any or all of those numbers from your rejection list. - To hear instructions again:
- Dial 0

Selective Call Acceptance*
Accept calls from a list of up to 12 numbers that you program into your phone. All other callers will receive a message that you are not accepting their call.
- To activate the service
- Lift the handset and wait for dial tone
- Press *62. Rotary, dial 1162
- Listen for an announcement telling you whether the feature is on or off. The recorded voice will then tell you how many numbers are stored in your acceptance list
- Follow the voice instructions and dial 3 to turn the feature ON (if it is currently off), or turn the feature off (if it is currently on)
- To add the last caller to your acceptance list
- Press #01#. Rotary, dial 1201
- To hear the phone numbers on your list
- Dial 1
- After the list is read, voice instructions will follow
- To add a number to your list
- Press #. Rotary, dial 12
- Follow the voice instructions. You can store up to 12 phone numbers on your acceptance list
- To remove a number from your list
- Press *. Rotary, dial 11
- Follow the voice instructions to remove any or all of those numbers from your acceptance list
- To hear instructions again
- Dial 0
Selective Ringing/Call Waiting*
Program your phone with your list of up to 12 selected callers. A special ring will notify you when a preferred caller is on the line. If you also have Call Waiting, you will hear a special Call Waiting tone.
- To activate the service
- if the handset and wait for dial tone
- Press *61. Rotary, dial 1161
- Listen for an announcement telling you whether the feature is on or off. The recorded voice will then tell you how many (if any) numbers are currently stored in your selected callers list
- Follow the voice instructions and dial 3 to turn the feature ON (if it is currently off), or turn the feature off (if it is currently on)
- To add the last caller to your selection list
- Press #01#. Rotary, dial 1201
- To hear the phone numbers on your list
- Dial 1
- After the list is read, voice instructions will follow
- To add a number to your list
- Press #. Rotary, dial 12
- Follow the voice instructions. You can store up to 12 phone numbers in your VIP list
- To remove a number from your list
- Press *. Rotary, dial 11
- Follow the voice instructions to remove any or all of those numbers
- To hear instructions again
- Dial 0

Visual Call Waiting*
See the name and number of the incoming call while you are on the line. Requires Call Display as a first feature and Call Waiting as a second.
Call Waiting*
A beep will notify you when another incoming call is on your line. This allows you to take the incoming call while putting the first call on hold.
- To answer the second call:
- Depress the switchhook, LinkTM or Flash button
- You will be automatically connected with the second caller
- To alternate between calls
- Depress the switchhook, LinkTM or Flash button
- Each conversation is private and cannot be heard by the other caller
- To end the first call
- Finish your conversation and hang up
- Your telephone will ring. When you answer it, you are connected to the second caller
- Call waiting will not work when an extension telephone is in use on the line
- To temporarily turn off Call Waiting for the duration of a single call
- Press *70. Rotary, dial 1170
- Listen for the dial tone and place your call
- Call waiting will be turned back on automatically once you hang up
Three-Way Calling*
Talk with 2 people in separate locations at the same time. Long distance charges may apply.
- To add a third party:
- Depress the switchhook or LinkTM button for about one second to hold your existing call
- Dial the number of the third party immediately
- When the third party answers, you may talk privately before connecting with the second party
- To add the holding party, depress the switchhook or link button for about one second. Your three-way connection is now in effect
- To disconnect the third party
- Depress the switchhook for about one second. You will now be restored to your original call
- Hang up to disconnect completely
Call Forwarding*
Forward your incoming calls to any local, long distance or cellular phone number. Long distance charges may apply.
- To forward calls:
- Dial *72. Rotary, dial 1172. Listen for three beeps followed by a dial tone
- Dial the phone number to which your calls are to be forwarded. If the person answers, keep the line open for at least 5 seconds to establish the service
- If there’s no answer, or the line is busy, hang up and repeat the previous two steps within two minutes of your original attempt. Your Call Forwarding feature will then be in effect
- To discontinue Call Forwarding
- Dial *73. Rotary, dial 1173
Teen Service – Residence*
Give you up to two additional phone numbers on a single phone line. Each phone number has a distinctive ring that lets you know who the call is for before you answer.
Call Trace
Trace the source of harassing and obscene calls by dialing a simple code. Call Trace is $5 per successful trace to a maximum of $10 within your monthly billing period.
Call Blocking
A free service that prevents your phone number from appearing on a display screen.
- Per Call Blocking
- Dial *67. Rotary, dial 1167
- Listen for dial tone and make your call
- Per Line Blocking
- Is provided to Social Service Agencies and Customers with non-published numbers to ensure the number is never displayed
Toll Restriction
Control Your Long Distance spending by restricting long distance calls from your line.
- Toll Denial
- This free service blocks anyone from dialing a long distance number from your line. There is a $10 charge to have Toll Denial removed. Toll Denial does not prevent the acceptance of collect calls, calling card or calls that were billed to you from a third party.
- Collect & Third Party Blocking
- This service prevents anyone from accepting collect & Third Party calls on your line. To add this feature there is a $10 charge.
- 900/976 Call Blocking
- Add this feature for a $10 charge
